Week 10th, 12th December

Hello everybody!!
At last, we finished decorating the classroom with our useful sentences, questions and instructions. It's been hard work but the classroom now is much more beautiful and we can read them whenever we need.
We played "Simon Says" again. They love it!!! It's funny and they practise what they are learning.
They also learnt two Christmas Carols: "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and "Jingles Bells". They have to do a Wordsearch as homework.
Sing these Christmas Carols at home.

Week 3rd, 5th December

Hello!! How was your weekend??
I will tell you everything we did last week:
We expanded the vocabulary of the family and we sang a lovely song. Here is the video, in case you want to practise it at home:

The students presented their projects about their families, but not all of them did it, therefore they will have to do it this week.
We have also been learning sentences, questions and instructions that we very much use in class. After practising these sentences, questions... for a long time, we are decorating the classroom with all the language we have learnt. The classroom is going to be  a warmer and more beautiful place to learn English.
I hope they all will use this language in class!!

Week 26th, 28th November

Hello, good morning to everybody.
We have finished studying the vocabulary of the school things and we have got used to the question "Can I borrow your ...., please?" I am very happy this week, because all the children managed to learn the song "This is my table" and they sang it very well.
Next, we started to learn some vocabulary about the family and we will expand it the following week.
Students have to do a project at home to introduce their family members to their partners in the class.

Week 19th, 21st November

Hello my dear students!!
As you all know, we have been studying the name of plenty of school things. We counted them and say to our partners how many there were: "How many erasers are there in the pencilcase? // There are three erasers in the pencilcase."
We have practised the question "Can I borrow your ....., please?" and the answer "Here you are".
We have also learnt this beautiful song. Sing it at home with your parents.

Week 12th, 14th of November

Hello students and parents!!
On Tuesday, the first thing we did was to correct the homework (a crossword about animals). Thanks to the parents for helping them.
Later, we practised the question "How many.... are there?" and its answer "There are / is ......".
They listened to the song "Oh Macdonal had a farm", but they couldn't learnt it. They should practise at home.
On Thursday, they learnt new vocabulary about School Things: eraser, sharpener, school bag, crayons, etc.
They used the question "What is this?" and they answered "This is a ...."

They have to practise this vocabulary at home, as homework.

Week 5th, 7th November

This week we have played Bingo with numbers from 1 to 100!!! They enjoyed it very much although they had some difficulties. Aitor and Paula Díaz won in a row, but we didn't complete the Bingo due to the lack of time. We practised the new ways of greeting and saying good bye, of course. We spoke about our favourite colours and animals and they learnt how to answer to the question "How many ...... are there in the class?" To do this, they learnt some vocabulary of school things, but we will continue studying this during next week.
All the students behaved very well and they did their best.
I remind the parents that the students will have some homework on Thursdays, but not on Tuesdays.

Week 29th, 31st October

Hello students and parents. I am the new teacher, Elena.
The first week I stayed with the students, I tried to know the level they had, therefore, we reviewed the colours, numbers, animals and, of course we learnt vocabulary about Halloween.
They enlarged the vocabulary of numbers up to 100!!!. They learnt to distinguise 13 from 30, 14 from 40...., so we paid much attention to the pronunciation.
They answered with the short form "Yes, I do / No, I don't" to the question "Do you like.....?". We also practised new greetings and farewells "How are you? / I'm fine, thank you. And you? / Nice to meet you / See you / Bye .....
All the students were very kind and co-operative.

Week 21th - 23th October

Helloooo Everybody!!!

Welcome to the class again!! Are you ready to remember all we did!!! YESSSSSSSS, we are. Fantastic!! So let's go to take a look:

- We started to count till 40!!! And it was fantastic because everybody knew all of them perfectly.

- We asked the rest of the class: What is your name? My name is ...... , How old are you? I am ....... years old.

- We revised all the animals around the world. We played doing their movements in the class. It was so funny!!!

- We did a black mask, cut out and later painted a donkey and its tail. The poor donkey didnot have its tail and we had to put on well. The donkey were on the wall and one by one put on the tail in its donkey without seeing anything!!!!!! We learn "up, down, left, right".  Absolutely cool!!!!!

- We reminded all the colours and the Thrusday homework was to draw a lovely rainbow!!! All the draws were fantastic!! Good artist everyone.

Every worked hard and paid so much attention on it!!!

Well done. Congratulations 

Week #1: Welcome!

This week we have learnt about exotic and farm animals. Students were familiar with some farm animals, but they had trouble with word pronunciation. They needed extra help while playing "Animal Bingo".

Paula was the luckiest student! She won 3 times in a row. Aitor and María were in a good mood and very co-operative.
