Hello everybody! How are you?
Last week it was great! We spoke a lot and the students learnt to make different sentences in English.They learnt how to make questions like " What are you doing?, Is he
painting?, Are you reading?......" They also know how to answer, of
course: "I am cooking, or She is running, Yes, I am / Not, I am not".
Apart from learning the verbs and how to make short sentences with them,
they have learnt the personal pronouns "I, you, he, she, it, we, you,
they". From now on, I will try to practise them everyday in the
classroom. Next week I will teach them how to say
the time: "What time is it?" and we'll speak about the weather,
"What's the weather like today?"...... But this will be next week.......

After Easter Holidays......
Hello parents and students!!
Did you have a nice Easter? I hope you did.
We will meet tomorrow after these wonderful holidays and we have to review all the actions we learnt last week. Do you remember what we do during the day?
When I wake up in the morning..... I wash my face,
I comb my hair,
I eat breakfast...........
When I finish school...... I eat lunch,
I do my homework,
I go to English class,
I have a shower,
I put on my pyjamas............
We have learnt to say many things that we can do: I jump, I play football with my friends, I dance very well, I run in the park.............. And also using the "present continuous": The cat is jumping, the rabbit is running, the bird is flying........ Well, but we must have a look at all this again. We will do it this week.

Hello everybody!
Hello everybody!!
First of all I would like to congratulate Aitana, who has won the Olympic Games this term. They have made a great work and they have learnt many new things. It would be very good for your children if you had a look at the worksheets they have done during this term. It would be perfect if you watched the videos with them as well. Don't forget that they have to repeat what they hear or to sing at the same time.
Last weeks we studied "Jobs" and they learnt a lot of vocabulary about it. They learnt how to say where people work, what they do in their jobs. They know the name of many occupations. We have played mimic and we have watched a video. We have spoken very much about our favourite jobs and the students have made two beautiful posters for the classroom where they have writtene about different jobs.
Here you are the video. It is quite long, so you don't need to watch in one only session.
Now they are learning to speak about their Daily Routines:
"I wake up and I wash my face. Later I eat breakfast and I brush my teeth..........."
They are going to work with much vocabulary about "Actions". In that way, they will be able to produce more elaborated sentences. No more up to now.....

18th, 20th of March
Hello students and parents!!
I'm sorry I didn't publish in the blog for the last weeks. I have had problems with it. It didn't let me write in English, I don't know why. I couldn't upload videos either.....
But, here we are again! We have studied many adjectives, not only to describe physical appearance (tall, slim, weak, slow, fast, fat, big, handsome....), but also to describe emotions (tired, hungry, excited, bored, relaxed, nervous ......) We have looked for the right opposite, we have described our classmates and our relatives, we have played "Simon Says", and we have sung "IF YOU ARE HAPPY". We have watched different videos about adjectives. Watch them at home and repeat always what you hear!!!

Week 4th, 6th of March
Hello students!!
How are you? Have you already done your English homework? It is only one wordsearch.
We have studied many adjectives, such as rich-poor, tall-short, slow-fast, happy-sad, fat-thin ....
We have practised the short answers "Yes, I am", "No, I am not", "Yes, he/she is" and "No, he/she isn't". You know how to answer the question "What is ......... like? We have described some of our classmates.
We will continue working on this next week.

The last week of February
First of all, I would like to apologize for not being with you the last week of February. I am really sorry. But Sonia was with you, and I am sure that you enjoyed her classes very much. She was working with you the place prepositions: in, on, under, in front of, behind, next to, near, above and between. She told me that you did many exercises in the worksheets and played a game in which you had to give different clues for the rest to find things around the class. Well, apart from this, you played "Simon says", too, and you learnt a new song about prepositions. Here is the video, in case you want to sing it at home with your parents.

The first two weeks of February
Hello!!!
Last weeks, we have been learning a great amount of vocabulary about Clothes. We have worked with different worksheets, we have played Domino, we have sung two songs and we have been talking a lot about this topic. You have learnt the questions: What are you wearing today? What do you wear in summer, winter...? Do you like skirts, tracksuits....?, etc. You also know how to answer all these questions.
You already know many words about clothing. Try to practise at home!!
Today we are going to learn a new Chant to practise the vocabulary and to enjoy at the same time. You will like it, I am sure.

Week 28th, 30th January
Hello everybody!! This week we have been singing and, of course, acting as well. Some of them tried to do it standing up on their chairs (Alex and Jose). We have spoken a lot while we studied the days of the week, the months of the year and the seasons. They have told me what they do at weekends (too many computing games....), which were their favourite days and why (you can imagine why...) and they have also told me when their birthdays were. I feel very satisfied this week because I have got them all to speak English quite well and fluently. Here you are some videos that they have liked very much:

At last, we have finished studying the different parts of the body. As they already knew many of them, we have enhanced this vocabulary with much more words. Ask them, you will get surprised.
Ask them as well to sing the song they have learnt. As I said last week, I couldn't find a video of this version of the song "Head and Shoulders", but they can sing it on their own.
We have also been speaking about the days of the week and the things they usually do on these days.
They have to do a worksheet as a homework. Please, don't forget to do it.

Week 14th, 16th January
Buenos días a todos.
Ya hemos retomado el curso y hemos entrado a fondo en materia. Ahora estamos estudiando las partes del cuerpo. Para ello trabajamos con fichas, juegos y canciones. La canción de esta unidad es una versión ampliada de "HEAD AND SHOULDERS", ya que la versión más sencilla la conocían ya todos. No os pongo ningún video porque no he visto ninguno que me agrade, pero los niños conocen la canción y podéis pedirles que la canten en casa. También podéis preguntarles cómo se llaman las distintas partes del cuerpo en inglés, ¡conocen muchas!, ya veréis.
En esta ocasión, escribo en español porque quiero explicaros algo importante.
Necesito que el boletín de notas del primer trimestre me lo entreguéis firmado, por favor.
También deciros que todas las fichas trabajadas en la primera evaluación debéis dejarlas ya en casa, no para tirarlas, claro, pero no deben traerlas más a clase. De vez en cuando las podéis coger y repasarlas con los niños. Las fichas que vayamos trabajando en este trimestre, no se las llevarán a casa, sino que las guardaremos en la clase, cada alumno tiene una carpeta donde las iremos archivando. Al final de esta evaluación se las llevarán todas a casa y podréis ver los trabajos de vuestros hijos. De momento sólo se llevarán la ficha de los deberes los jueves, y la volverán a traer los martes.
Todo esto ya lo saben los niños, pero sé que muchas veces no se acuerdan de deciros las cosas o no saben explicaroslas.
Ante cualquier duda, no dudéis en preguntarme.

¡¡¡¡FELIZ AÑO 2014!!!!
Buenos días a todos.
Comenzamos el nuevo año con mucha ilusión y con ganas de aprender.
Las clases comenzarán el Jueves, día 9 de enero, con el mismo horario que en el primer trimestre.
El primer día, revisaremos lo que ya hemos estudiado durante el trimestre anterior y, a partir de la semana que viene, empezaremos a estudiar nuevos contenidos de los que iré informando todas las semanas.
Espero que todos hayan repasado las fichas y hayan escuchado las canciones...
